FAQ's

  • How long does a survey take?
The length of a survey is very much dependent on the surveyors findings and the size of the property. For example if the surveyor is only assessing a lounge and a kitchen it should take anywhere between one hour and one and a half, however, if it is a 4 bedroom house it could be anywhere between two to four hours.
  • What locations do your surveyors cover?
We cover East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and surrounding areas.
  • Will you need to access my roof?
We may need to gain access to the roof space, especially if you have water ingress or a leak within that area. If the source can be pinpointed but not accessed internally, we may send up an aerial drone to inspect the roof without the need for expensive access equipment.
  • Do you undertake the works after the survey has been carried out?
As we are specialist independent surveyors, we do not work in conjunction with contractors, or builders, therefore we do not undertake the remedial works, but do list the specific works needed in the standard comprehensive report. That way we can offer an unbiased and honest report as we have no financial gain from any remedial works carried out following the survey.
  • Will I get a report afterwards?
You will receive an in-depth and detailed report explaining all of our surveyor's findings and recommendations within 14 working days of the survey, provided the balance has been settled.
  • Why would I need an aerial survey?
An aerial survey is an efficient way of carrying out inspections of your roof, gutters, spire, clock towers and chimneys. An aerial drone survey also prevents the need to have expensive access equipment erected.
